CAREER: Fifth-year cornerback who is the veteran of the Notre Dame secondary ... joins Chindeum Ndukwe as three-time letterman among four returning Irish secondary starters from 2006 ... approved for extra season of elgibility by Faculty Board on Athletics since he did not play as a rookie in 2002 ... has played in 36 games for the Irish, including 17 starting assignments ... has career totals of 115 tackles (85 solos), four interceptions (48 yards), 10 pass breakups, five tackles for loss and three quarterback sacks.

2005 (SENIOR): Started all 12 games at cornerback ... fifth on the team with 66 tackles (50 solos), including five tackles for loss (26 yards), three quarterback sacks (22 yards), one fumble recovery, three interceptions and two forced fumbles and broke up seven passes ... collected three solo tackles and one pass breakup versus Pittsburgh ... made five tackles (four solos) against Michigan ... had five tackles (two solos), including a quarterback sack (12 yards), and broke up a pass against Michigan State ... made three tackles (all solos) against Washington ... had a huge game in the win at Purdue, leading the team with nine tackles (all solos), recovering a fumble and intercepting a pass ... the fumble recovery ended a Purdue threat at the Irish two-yard line while the interception snuffed a Boilermaker threat in the Notre Dame end zone ... made six tackles (all solos), including one for a loss (four yards), and intercepted a pass against USC ... the pass interception came in Irish territory in the third period, ending a USC scoring threat ... had five tackles (three solos) and intercepted a pass against BYU ... made a team-high nine tackles (six solos), including 1.5 for losses (four yards), forced two fumbles, had one quarterback sack and broke up a pass in the win over Tennessee ... made six tackles (three solos) in the win over Navy ... made four tackles and broke up two passes in limited action in the win over Syracuse ... made seven tackles (all solos), including two tackles for loss (seven yards), and a quarterback sack for a six-yard loss in the win over Stanford ... had four tackles (three solos) against Ohio State in the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl ... logged 286:25 of playing time with 90 special teams appearances.

2003 (SOPHOMORE): Played in all 12 games, primarily on special teams, to earn his first monogram at Notre Dame ... saw action at cornerback in three games (Washington State, Stanford and Syracuse) ... finished the season with 16 tackles (10 solos) ... usually backed up Dwight Ellick and Jason Beckstrom at right cornerback ... made his first appearance for the Irish versus Washington State ... made first career solo tackle against Pittsburgh ... recorded two tackles on special teams versus USC ... had a then-career-high five tackles against Stanford ... played over 14 minutes against Stanford in the secondary ... first on the team with 243 special teams appearances and played 32:38 minutes on defense.

2002 (FRESHMAN): Did not see action as a rookie cornerback.
