Logan grew up on a 10,000-acre cattle ranch in Catheys Valley, Calif. (population 984), and as a child dreamed of being a professional steer roper. He and his father are a prize-winning roping team.

Logan was one of just three 2005 first round draft picks (Kansas City linebacker Derrick Johnson and Dallas linebacker DeMarcus Ware) to start all 16 regular season games last season.
