2002 (15/4): Green played in 15 games, including four starts, and recorded 21 tackles … Made his NFL debut against Pittsburgh (9/9) and his first NFL start at Miami (10/06) … Ranked sixth on the team with 2.5 sacks. Pittsburgh (9/9): Recorded his first professional sack, along with a forced fumble and four tackles (3 solos) in the Patriots 30-14 win over the Steelers on Monday Night Football … Sacked Kordell Stewart for a loss of 13 yards, causing a fumble on the play that was recovered by Roman Phifer. Miami (10/6): Notched his first NFL start, playing most of the game at defensive end in place of Anthony Pleasant … Recorded three tackles, including stopping Ricky Williams for no gain in the fourth quarter … Also returned a kickoff for 10 yards. Buffalo (11/3): Started for the fourth consecutive week on the defensive line in New England’s 38-7 win over the Bills… Part of a Patriots defense that held the Bills offense, which had been ranked second in the NFL, to just one touchdown. Jarvis was the recipient of the 2006 New England Patriots Ron Burton Community Service Award.

Two of Jarvis' cousins are also in the NFL – Wide receiver Skyler Green was selected by the Dallas Cowboys in the 2006 NFL Draft and defensive lineman Howard Green plays for the Miami Dolphins.

Jarvis participated in an internship at the Rolls Royce Naval Marine Plant in Walpole, Mass. in the program management department and hopes to develop that career after his playing career.
