The Patriots head into Sunday's game at Miami tied with the Dolphins for second place in a highly competitive AFC East. 2006 Season (Miami - 14/2): Started two of the 14 games he appeared in for the Miami Dolphins in 2006. The Miami Dolphins claimed Jackson off waivers on Sept. 4, 2005. He appeared in 15 games for the Dolphins that year, including one start. He finished the season with 14 defensive tackles as well as a dozen special teams stops.

2005 Season (Miami - 15/1): Played in 15 games, including one start, in his first season with the Dolphins...Was inactive for one contest...Registered two tackles and a pass defensed on defense...Stood out on special teams where he ranked fourth on the squad with 12 stops, in addition to coming up with a fumble recovery...Opened game at Buffalo (10/9) as Dolphins started with six DBs, marking his first NFL start...Had best special teams performance of the season in win vs. Buffalo (12/4) when he posted two tackles and recovered a Roscoe Parrish fumbled punt...Added three special teams tackles in win over N.Y. Jets (12/18) and two more invictory over Tennessee (12/24).
2004 Season
2004 Season (Carolina - 11/0): Spent the first six games of his rookie season on the Panthers' practice squad before being activated to the 53-man roster, where he played in a reserve role in each of the final ten contests...Posted 11 tackles on defense and six on special teams...Collected a season-high six tackles at San Francisco (11/14) when he saw action as Carolina's nickle back.
College
At Arkansas, Jackson started 21 of 47 games as a cornerback and strong safety. He tallied 174 tackles, five interceptions, 35 passes defensed, two fumble recoveries and a forced fumble during his career. He was also a four-year letterman and two-time All-American performer on Arkansas' indoor and outdoor track teams, competing in the 55-, 60- and 110-meter hurdles.
